Camping COVID 19 Update

Camping

COVID – 19 restrictions update, we will update as regularly as we can

We ask that guests planning to visit are in good health and absent of any coronavirus symptoms. Have not tested positive in the last 14 days and are not visiting from an area in local lockdown.

Camping – Due to the present Corona Virus Pandemic, the hotel & camp site will operate with restrictions which we are keeping to a minimum wherever we can.

The layout of the building and our ability to comply with restrictions as close as we can means there will be no restaurant or sauna facilities until further notice and many areas will operate a one-way system. The swimming pool is open but your private bubble slot will have to be booked in advance.

Bar  – Our bar is open offering drinks for residents and campers. This may be consumed at a table in the bar when available or in the gardens or taken to the camp site.

Food – is available in the hotel or take away Friday and Saturday night.

Breakfast – Whenever possible we will offer a takeaway breakfast of tea or coffee and a bacon or sausage roll or sandwich for campers, please check for availability when booking.

Social Distancing in the hotel – All guests will need to practise social distancing at all times. You will need to bring and wear a minimum three-ply face mask whenever in public areas inside the hotel.

Booking for camping must be done in advance at which time full payment will be taken. You are asked to check into the hotel reception to complete a registration form and get your receipt wrist band

If we are forced to close due to Government restrictions bookings can be transferred within 12 months or cancelled with a full refund.

Cleaning & Hygiene – Showers and toilets on the camp site are closed for the winter but campers are welcome to use toilets in the hotel, please help us to stay safe and observe social distancing at all times.

Please  wash your hands regularly.

Camping guidelines – No fires will be lit on the ground. No amplified music to be played on the camp site. Only well-behaved quiet dogs will be allowed to stay. Owners may be asked to remove their dogs from the site if this is not adhered to without a refund. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Please pitch your tent or park your mobile home at a safe distance from your neighbour, at least 5 metres. At times of rain the field may get a little soggy so camper vans and mobile homes may prefer to be on the hard standing to prevent getting stuck.

Please collect your rubbish and deposit in one of the bins provided

We very much hope we will be able to return to our normal service as soon as possible.

By booking your camping or motor home pitch you have acknowledged and agreed to the above.
